please help "william elp"

hi all my 1st plea for help WILLIAM ELP born about 1740,wed susanna brown 1794 @ st mary's in walsgrave on sowe any information would be of use, you see ive a WM ELP marrying in 1761,to judith jones,AND marrying her again on the same day BUT @ bubbenhall which i believe is not a great distance from each other MY big issue is with a 33yr gap could it be that the 1st WILLIAM ELP was the 2nd's father pleeeeeze help me bob

I have tried a search to find these 2 Williams but come to a full stop. With the 30 year gap I would personally presume that they were father and son. It is possible that it could be that he married twice but without the parish records it is difficult. You do not have the Census to help you that far back

nainmaddie, ive been down to warwick to check on this but only manage to find bits ie children from wm & susanna thats why i think wm & judith were is parents plus a 33yr gap oh well back to the drawing board but cheers for looking
