Hi Steve and James,

According to the 1861 census, Thomas Baynton aged 89 was born in Astley, Worcestershire.

On Family Search, I can find the marriage of Stephen Baynton and Sarah Dunn. It took place on 25 April 1767 in Astley, Worcestershire. I can also find the baptism of Nancy in Astley, in 1767 to parents Stephen and Sarah.

However, I am unable to find the baptisms of the other children - at least not in the right place or with the right parents!

hellohello to both
yes they lived and were born in Astley I see that you found Nancy do you think that i got the others wrong or could there be another reason, as it seems strange that so much of what I have is correct.
thank you all

Hello James,

I can see only three baptisms:

NANCY BAYNTON - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Christening: 1767 Astley, Worcester, England

BENJAMIN BAYNTON - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 16 MAY 1769 Astley, Worcester, England

MARY BAYNTON - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Christening: 01 APR 1771 Astley, Worcester, England

A bit curious only the year is given for Nancy.

Joseph may have been baptised but perhaps there is no record of it.

Don't know about Thomas.

Regards,

Dave
