Help with finding details of my great grandparents.

Hi i'm began doing my family tree and got my fathers side right back to 1700's but my mother's side is proving harder.

Her mam was called Mary Allman 1916 to 1963
Her dad was called George P Lumsden 1911-1996.
Their marriage was 1936.

All i know of my maternal grandmother is her name and her dad obviously Allman and her mam either Young or Keenan. Born in Newcastle, Northumberland, England.

On my maternal grandfather's side all i know his name and his dad possibly John Lumsden and mam Lakey. Born is Morpeth, Northumberland, England.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi,

Looking at freebmd site Mary Allman 1919 - Mmn Young. Her birth was registed in the March 1/4 of 1919. The birth year in 1939 is given as 1918, so,she may have been born at the end of 1918. Couldn’t see a birth with Mmn Keenan. Did you mean husband George not father?

Thanks for looking/replying.
Her birth mother is either Young or Keenan (i found on ancestry a birth record for Mary Allman and name of Young as parent)
My cousin says she thought her mam's maiden was Keenan hence i'm confused.
Mary Allman (my nan) her fathers surname was Allman.
I have looked on Ancestry on marriages and putting my nan (Mary Allman) as named child but without knowing her parents first names i'm finding it difficult.

There’s quite a few children born Allman with mmn Young. The marriage certificate for Mary Allman will give fathers name and occupation. Do you know any of her siblings names?.

My nan Mary Allman married my grandad George P Lumsden.

I don't know any of my nan's sisters/brothers and that's if she had any, she passed away when my mam was 17/18 years old.

All i have to go on is her name (can name all her children she had, my nan that is)

I just wished i had of asked my mam before she died.
