Hello
Henry was born Gateshead 14/4/1883
his parents were Wilson Blackburn and Elizabeth nee Lonsdale
we know that he served WW1 but we cannot find the regiment
he survived then moved to Paris where he married ,lived and died at the age of 83

I know that this is a long shot ,but can anyone help with finding the regiment
thanks

The Army Service Corps became the Royal Army Service Corps, then the Royal Corps of Transport, and is now incorporated into the Royal Logistic Corps, which also incorporated Royal Army Ordnance Corps amongst others.
