The name is actually BENSLEY. Barbara died in 1851:

I don't know why Emily would be with the family. Barbara's maiden name is WARMAN and Henry's first spouse was Elizabeth NUNN.

Henry arrived in Australia in Nov 1852.

I'd like the census ref please for 1841 and a look up for Henry in 1851.

Thanks,

Hi Dave

Barbara was a widow when she married Henry.

She was b. abt 1780

NBI:
12 Mar 1851
Barbara BENSLEY
71
Norfolk
Great Fransham, All Saints

Possible marriage..

William Warman
Marriage Date: 12 Oct 1801
Marriage Place: Little Fransham, Norfolk, England
Spouse: Barbara Barclay
FHL Film Number: 2262437
Reference ID: p 18

Problem is, it looks as though he died in 1809, a long time before marrying Henry

26 May 1809
William WARMAN
35
Norfolk
Great Fransham, All Saints

She was abt. 10y older than Henry, which would fit.

Geoff

Thanks Geoff.

I actually missed that. redf)

I had entered WARMEN as her maiden name.

I'm off for a few hours while it's not raining.
