I have the images of the marriage to transcribe tomorrow. The images are of the forms the church sent to the Registrar General. They are supposed to be a copy of the Parish Register. That means that all the images sent by the churches could contain transcription errors. Not all the Parish registers are on film and only available at probably one library in each state so it's not easy getting an image of the original.

DEATHS.
On the 18th November, 1860, at Castlemaine, Charles Hastie,
baker, late of Sydney, and native of Paisley, Scotland, in his 52nd
year.

I can't find that death in the Vic. index.
