Hello crankypants,

Thanks for looking. Perhaps not that one because of this marriage:

7749/1908 INGRAM HENRY WHITTINGHAM MARY E DUBBO

Hello crankypants,

A birth to match the death in Bombala:

7834/1873 INGRAM HENRY - HENRY SOPHIA BOMBALA

and a marriage for his parents:

1938/1869 INGRAM HENRY - ELTON SOPHIA BOMBALA

It ties in with the marriage in 1917 in Bombala but he is 20 years older !!

Hi Dave

This one's rather strange:confused:

Checked all INGRAM'S in Bombala, no luck. Checked under STORRIER in case she went back to maiden name, nothing.
1st marriage INGRAM 2nd marriage PRINGLE.
So why can't I find her in 1936?

cheers

Hello crankypants,

Thanks for looking. Well, continuing with something strange

A sibling:

Alice Louisa STORRIER b. 1898 Crookwell d. ??

married 1920 Goulburn

Kenneth R GILLETT b. 1886 d. 1963 Goulburn

Enlisted Liverpool, NSW 13 Sep 1915 - S/N 4298 2nd Btn > 54th >56th Btn - 23 yrs 1 mo [--> b. 1892 ?] Labourer - NOK mother Gillett Elizabeth living at 'Woore' Goulburn, NSW - Embarked Sydney HMAT A60 'Aeneas' 20 Dec 1915 - Served in France - Returned to Australia per 'Wyreema' 3 Jun 1919 - Discharged 26 Jul 1919

Enlisted Goulburn, NSW 24 May 1942 - S/N N378634 - DOB 15 Nov 1887 ?? - NOK Gillett Alice living at Mummel Bridge, NSW - Discharged 20 Sep 1945

Looks as though he didn't give his correct DOB each time.

That means Alice was alive at least up to his date of enlistment in 1942.

No sign of Alice buried at Coolamon etc... Her parents are Henry John & Ada Agnes JENKINS (All interwoven - I didn't mention with the PENFOLDS that one married a 1st cousin)

Hello crankypants,

Thank you.

We may as well do another "I" here.

Lorelei Emmeline INNES b. 1906 Qld. d. 1994 NSDW

married 1929 North Sydney

Frederick William BOOKER b. 1902 St Leonards d. 1977 Roseville.

http://www.womenaustralia.info/biogs/AWE1143b.htm
Lorelei Emmeline Booker was President of the League of Women Voters of New South Wales, 1964-1976, and founder and honorary editor of the League's newsletter, 'Equality'. Booker was actively involved in community activities through various bodies, including the Castle Cove Progress Association and the Association of Self-Help Organisations and Groups. She was a Board member of Sydney's Independent Theatre, 1957-1967, and a member of the Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust. Hello Edwina,

Thanks for your reply. I'm a descendant of Elizabeth Annabella STORRIER. Do you have a date and place of death for Alice Louisa? I'm always looking to fill the odd gap in the info in my tree.

Regards,

Dave

Hi Dave

My apologies for the slow reply. My grandmother, Alice Louisa Gillett (nee Storrier) died 20th March 1988. She is buried at Mummel Cemetery. Her husband, Kenneth Gillett was born 15th November 1887 and died 19th August 1963.

Hope that helps.

Edwina
