Henry Gleave married Peggy Holt - where?

In the Cheshire Parish Registers on familysearch there is an entry for an intended marriage between Henry Gleave and Peggy Holt on 05/09/1802 in Cheshire.

Is anyone able to tell me if the marriage took place and whereabouts in Cheshire. I think it would have been in the Stockport/Cheadle area.

I have checked the Cheshire Marriage Allegations and Bonds but cannot find any mention of the marriage and I'm rather puzzled as to why it is down in the Parish Registers as an intended marriage rather than an actual one.

It looks like they had a child, Elizabeth 1808 in Stockport. So I would hazard a guess, that's where to start.
