I am struggling to find a birth record for Henry.

I've searched the GRO index without success.

All I have are census records from 1901 & 1911 which both state place of birth as Tottenham Court Road!

His father was John Hoare 1864-1919
His mother was Annie Maria Lucy Holloway b1866

I have found this baptism record from 1910 but I am unsure if it is him
Name: Henry John Hoare
Baptism Age: 13
Record Type: Baptism
Birth Date: 21/04/1896
Baptism Date: 17/03/1910
Baptism Place: Lambeth Holy Trinity, Lambeth England
Father: John Hoare
Mother: Anne Hoare

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have John and Annie Maria's marriage Cert? If so does it state that she is a spinster? I am just wondering if she had been married before and widowed and that Holloway was a married name and not her maiden name.

Hi Barbara,
I had found that entry on Free BMD but discounted it because Tottenham Court Road, Middlesex is in the Pancras Registration District. Guess I'll have to order the certificate to find out if it's him.
Thanks for your help.

And can you point us to where he is in 1911, having trouble finding him

With more info sure we can solve this.
Hi again,

In 1911 he is living with his parents at 4 Providence Place, Pearman Street, Westminster Bridge Road S E

Edit: In 1901 he is with his father living at Guinness Trust Buildings, Vauxhall Walk, Lambeth, also on the 1911 census he is named as Harry.

Regards
Dave

An Occasional Copy A is normally generated when a change has been made to the original Registration. For example the parents have finally got married and want to include the name of the father, or they have discovered an error on the original certificate and want it correcting etc.
