No idea what is on a WA death cert but death certs more likely to have errors and omissions.

I recently paid $20 for a Vic. marriage downloaded pdf - lots of details.

The difficulty is, Gibbo if you want something you have to pay... Though that does seem a bit steep..

Steve, i have been over it and over it again and not finding anything on him in Australia that has his parents names to confirm his your fella.
Depending on how bad you need the info the only way i can think of is the marriage cert. IF filled out correctly is should state a heap of info such as Dave's example he posted earlier shows.

His Father and Grandfather and Gt. Grandfather were bricklayers, and later a Builders, as Henry J. Ives was a apprentice bricklayer in the 1881 UK census.

Seems to be adding up.:)
