I don't think I have posted this before,if I have I'm sure someone will point it out to me.
For a long time,I have been looking for 2 burials.The first one is Henry Joseph Masters,my great x2 grandad.He died in 1886 in Hackney,London.I have looked at all the graveyards/burial sites on internet for London,others I have e-mailed but no luck.He was born in 1820 in Chatham in Kent,after marrying in 1850 he was living in Maidstone where his first son was born but died in 1851.This made me think that he is maybe buried in Maidstone with his son,however I can't find anything.I have tried other places in Kent,but nothing.I don't know where to look.Kent isn't an easy place to find records.
The 2nd burial I'm looking for,is Henry's daughter,my great gran, Catherine Sarah Bunch,nee Masters.She died in 1947 in Ashford where she was living with her eldest son Harold.It's possible that she was cremated as by that time it had become more popular.Catherine's husband,Benjamin,is buried in the Old Cemetery in Southampton,in the same grave is her mother,Louisa Masters and a sister , Eleanor.I know that Catherine is not buried anywhere in Southampon,despite living there for many years.
Her son Harold,had a son Bernard,who died at the age of 10 in 1928, in Ashford,that made me think that she may have been buried with him,but I can't find where he is buried either.
