regret we have to announce the death of Mr.
Matthew Peak, an old and much respected resi-
dent of Aberglasslyn, who expired at his residence
last night, at the advanced age of 82. The funeral
will leave deceased's late residence at Aberglasslyn
at half-past two o'clock to-morrow afternoon.

LATE MRS. MATTHEW PEAK.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Matthew Peak, senior, of Aberglasslyn, took place on 14th instant. The cortege moved from St. John's Cathederal to the Roman Catholic portion of the Campbell's Hill Cemetery where the interment took place. The Rev. Father Moran was the officiating Priest. The chief mourners were; Messrs. Matthew Peak, senior, (husband); Matthew Junior, Andrew, and Herbert (sons) and Mrs. Bridges (daughter). Numerous wreaths were sent by relatives and friends of deceased.

Matthew b 1817 Elfelt (Eltville) Germany to John & Gertrude Nee Yoth, married 1849 Lushouser Germany to Anna Maria (Annie Korb) (1822 – 1906) arrived in Oz 1849 as Mattheas Bieck age 30 on vessel “Parland” with Anna Maria wife age 27 - 5 April 1849. Church of Rome & can read & write.
