I am trying to locate the battalion of my maternal grandfather Henry McFadyen, whose MIC shows his number as 37995. I am unable to travel to Kew and wondered if anyone could search this for me.

His dates are 1881-1943, born at 107 Kirk Street, Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

His MIC also lists service in the Labour corps with the number 5676 and I am looking for this battalion information as well.

Thanks in anticipation
