Mrs Mary Pain, an old and esteemed resident of this city, died at 7 o'clock this morning at her residence, "Dyfuant" Goldsmith-street. The deceased lady had reached the age of 81 years, ...
She is survived by four daughters and one son. Mrs. Curwood, wife of the Rev. F. J. Curwood, for some time in Goulburn and now of South Australia, is one of the daughters, and Mr. J. Pain, of Newcastle is the son. The other daughters living are Misses Martha, Nellie, and Gwen Pain.

The only one death in NSW for a George Pain - son of Henry & Sarah.

Several deaths for a William Pain but can't be sure.

No death for a Frank Pain that fits.

No marriages in NSW for Jane, Lucinda or Emma.

Found a tree which has Henry Pain married 1st Ellen Wade (nee Gates nee Doust) 10 March 1860 NSW

Ellen Doust b 1824 Kent – died 5 Jan 1871 Berrima married 1st William Gates in May 1844 Kent (1826-1857) & had 7 children with him – then married Thomas Wade in June 1858 NSW (?-1859), then 3rd time to Henry Pain and had 3 children with him.

SMH – Sat 14 Jan 1871
PAIN – January 5 at her residence Bowrall, Ellen the beloved wife of Henry Pain, tanner aged 45, after a short but painfull illness.
