Henry Smith born c1817 Glostershire, England. Convicted of Breaking and entering and stealing at Montgomery Quarter Sessions 1839. Occupation: Butcher.
Sentence term: 10 years.
Departure date: 21st November, 1839. Arrival date: 27th April, 1840 New South Wales. Ship Mangles. Recommended Conditional Pardon 1846. Seems to have been moved to TAS. ( Note: originally sent to Norfolk Island, then Tasmania ). Any info of England or Oz welcome. Thanks. henry smithb.jpg
