Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me with some information.
My 2and great uncle Henry William Godfrey served in WW1 where he was awarded military medals. I'm trying to find out what he did when he came home. Now I have found the attached. I believe this may be him as I have found a death in darwen in blackburn in 1942. Please could somebody shed light on that attachment however. It says inmate. Would this be hospital or prison etc. If so how do I locate more information on what and where it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the definition: The Langho Colony was founded in 1906 by the Joint Asylum Committee of the Chorlton and Manchester Board of Guardians in the Ribble Valley as a hospital for epileptics. In 1929 its control passed to us.
