He drowned. Washed off rocks in 1937.

Fisherman Drowned
SYDNEY, Wednesday.
Herbert George Wagstaff, about 45, mar
ried, of Matraville, was fishing off the
rocks at Long Bay to-day when a large
wave swept him into the sea. He was
drowned. His son, Herbert Wagstaff, 23,
went for assistance, but his father had dis
appeared when he returned. The body
has not been recovered.
