i found my grandads birth cert 6/10/1898 francis bower 633 old kent road london father harry francis bower mother lucy formerly booker registered in camberwell district ............ i can get nothing help:'(

He's not easy to locate. The only marriage I could find for a Harry Francis Bower was in Derbyshire and the brides listed were a Charlotte Booker and Florence Morris, the year was 1897. What is Harrys occupation on Francis birth certificate? and the witnesses on Francis marriage certificate they could be relatives!

you star he wasnt easy..thats strange the maiden name for francis mum was lucy booker. that fits as my dads tree is chesterfield derbyshire wonder why year later they were living in london. i think it says farrier its a litlle blurred wow this is exiting

am i reading this correct; charlotte was born in camberwell? and my grandad Francis had sister beatrice? and brother vernon? so harry stayed in london? and charlotte went home to family
i have another 2 questions please tell me if I am being a pain
on the birth cert of francis at the bottom it has a stamp 25.11. 1911 chesterfield education commitee,
the other one is francis married doris emma leech20/09/1929 he was living in spital vale spital lane father harry deceased.
doris 28 park rd father harry gibb butcher it is said nanna was related to the gibb toothpaste people. julie may i ask which records i should look in i get confused. i have spoken to my dad and he is really grateful and says thank you. diz

Beatrice's birth is registered in 1900 Camberwell, can only find a birth For Arthur Vernon Bower 1901 Chesterfield.

To be honest Diz I wouldnt know why his b/c would have that stamp on it.
