started tracing my family tree and hit a brick wall.
dads birth certificate reads herbert reeve born 9 june 1918 sweeps row raylegh rochford mother elizabeth reeve formally milam no father listed.
now i can find a marriage in 1901 john william reeve/elizabeth milam but this proves nothing.
how can i find out who was living at sweeps row in 1918 this will give her age and a starting point
help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Allan,

Welcome to the forum. You could try the electrol register. There wasnt any between 1914-1917 but believe there was for 1918. Have you got your fathers marriage cert and if so what does if say for the father and what is the fathers occupation also who are the witness's on the marriage cert these could also give you a clue they could be family members.
