I have been researching my ancestors now for about a year but have come to a halt with my grandfather Alfred Brand Kerr's family, and hope to find some help on this site. He was born 06/02/1893 in Arbroath and married my gran Ann Taylor Duthie on 25/02/1916. He was killed in WWI in France on 21/11/1917. My mum was born 30/11/1916 but he never saw her. His parents were Alexander Kerr b. 01/07/1857 died 17/03/1894 and Jane Swan Croall b. 19/10/1854 died 28/12/1911.I believe he had a sister Jane. His grand parents were Alex Kerr b.1829 d.2/12/1889 and Jane LOgan b.1832 died 03/07/1888.
I have no other info. and have been unable to contact any one else researching the same family. Can anyone help?
