Hello All

Been busy working on a brick wall I have hit. It is concerning my Great-grandfather and his parents.

What I have discovered is that my Great-grandfather was born sometime between 1890 and 1902 in Ohio as far as I know he was James Stewart but not sure of exact dates or name due to middle names being used ect so can't quite pin him down.

So looked on generation back as from information I discovered his parents emigrated from Scotland to USA in 1890s and came back to Scotland around 1902. They were William Stewart and Rachael (no idea of surname)

I think what I need to do is find them on passenger lists as this would answer a few questions as did they (William and Rachael) go out on their own or was there any family back then. I'm just stuck to think where they would have went from and where am I going to find this info as what I have found is only passenger lists for New York.

This could be worth looking into, tho probably a long shot. Trouble is there are so many James Stewart's.

Did your James marry? If so do you have a copy of his marriage cert? Im just wondering what information is on that as to his age, place of birth and father's name etc
Also did your James have any siblings?
