I'm Elly from Yorkshire & I've been tracing my family tree for approx 12 months now... I have just over 2000 names listed. I've hit my fair share of brick walls but it's all been worth it (apart from the hair loss! lol).

The surnames I am interested in are -

Grindell - East & West Yorkshire
Horstead - East & West Yorkshire
Richardson - East & West Yorkshire
Walker - Yorkshire
Elfords - Somerset

I look forward to "chatting" to everyone in the future & I'm more than willing to help anybody with their research if I can.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I first got into this Genealogy stuff because my sis had started tracing our family tree & had got around 200 names listed when she asked me to drill our Mum for info (she wasn't talking to her at the time - families, who'd av em?). I dutifully retrieved the info from Mum, but then made the fatal error of having a nosey on Genes Reunited to see what all the fuss was about? THE END
