Many thanks for the information - even though it was not what I wanted to hear.

It was my mother's name and she was Liverpool Irish. As she was the eldest daughter, I assume that her maternal grandmother would also be Honora.

My mother, b 1906, was the eldest daughter of Thomas Peter Moran, d 1939 in Liverpool, and Ellen Mary O'Neil, d 1941 in Liverpool. I don't have much more information than that about Peter and Helen.
