HOWARD John 40
HOWARD Mary 41
plus children including
Catherine 4
Richard 2

John 40 Labourer Brinkley Cambridgeshire CofE Read
Mary 41 Wife Western Calvert [Weston Colville] Cambridgeshire CofE Read
with them are:
Samuel and Nancy TAYLOR - Step son and step daughter.

I can't find a marriage between John HOWARD and Mary TAYLOR.

Shipping record says 'wife' and the death reg for youngest two children has mother as Mary. A grandchild has a middle name of Lister/Lester. Is that Mary's maiden name?

I will try to view the 'Agent's shipping reel at the library next week.

Regards,

Dave

I can't find the marriage of Frederick TAYLOR to Mary LISTER/LESTER.

Is it Frederick or John? Could equally be John:

Deaths Sep 1840
TAYLOR John Linton 14 55

I can't find a baptism for any of the 3 TAYLOR children.

It's claimed Mary was born 1807 in Weston Colville, Cambridgeshire.

Mary's death in NSW:

5161/1874 HOWARD MARY - ? - MARY - ADELONG

I can't find the marriage of John HOWARD to Elizabeth WEBB.

HOWARD
John 40 Labourer Brinkley Cambridgeshire - Richard & Mary mother living at Little Tallow [Thurlow] Suffolk - CofEng - Read - No relations in colony

Mary 41 Housekeeper Weston Calvert Cambridgeshire - John & Mary Lister both dead - CofEng Read - No relations in colony

George 16 Labourer Calton Cambridgeshire - John Howard on board ship - Webb mother dead

Richard 2 Hundon Suffolk - Parents on board

It very clearly read Weston Calvert. I presume that is Weston Colville.
