Howdy Doody

I thought I would introduce myself, I'm Lisa and I live in Kent, England.
I'm married and have one daughter whos 15. She has Aspergers Syndrome and a few other problems but that means that I dont currently work as I care for her 24/7 literally, as school phobia is another 'issue'.

I started researching my family history about 6months ago when a new Library opened in town and I caught the bug, now I'm addicted completely. Its a very welcome distraction to me and helps me through when things get tough with my daughter. Not many people in my family share my passion especially my husband Peter who doesn't share my interest at all, even though I'm researching his family side too. So I'm hoping this forum will help me find people to talk to who are as interested in it as I am.

So thats me really, off to go digging again
