I am looking for my Great Uncle Philip Clark

I know I have posted this on other section and thought it would be easier to post this in here as he born in Scotland.

He born in 1923 in Scotland - cant pinpoint to where he was born but suspecting that he born in edinburgh like his father. He married to Nora Beeby (my great Aunt)

His father called Alexander Clark born in 1861 in Linlithgow and he married to Mary Kathleen Achurch born on 5 April 1889 in Sandon, Herefordshire. I have go back further but not sure which one is Alex's mum!

Sorry Nanaki, can you reread that as it looks like Alexander had Phillip when he was 62 - okay for him but his wife marrying in 1889 might have been a bit old to have a baby in 1923.

Yes, I know and that is where I got it from Great uncle's daughter's tree.

Which is why I cant obtain Phillip's birth cert as he wasnt born here in UK... But got his marriage information here in UK. x

I'm sorry Naniki, now I am even more confused. I thought he was born in Scotland but now you say not the UK. Do you have his marriage to your aunt? What was his age on that and perhaps Alexander is his grandad?

Philip is not born in UK, Barbara, which is why I cant find his birth and he was born in Scotland so I can't access nor find his birth information up there.

Only way is that I need to order his marriage cert but I can't find his marriage only can find my great Aunt Nora Beeby's marriage info on Ancestry to where I click on find spouse and his name is not showing up!

Nanaki, I am going to have to inform you that Scotland is in the UK! I was worried that was what you meant. You mean he was not born in England.

I can access Scottish records if you need me to. There are 4 Philip Clarks born in Scotland from 1922 to 1924 so if you have an idea if he had a middle name that might help pin him down as 3 of the four I think had first names or middle names as well as Philip.

Oh lol.. What I mean wheh I searched for him on Ancestry, he not born in England and was told that he was born in Scotland..

His middle name is Sidney.

Hi it is ok.

I had a contact from someone confirmed Alexander of 1861 is indeed Phil's father as Alexander's wife Mary is contact's line of his family.

Ok I'll have a look on that link I believe I have registered there.
