I am what I am and happy

#1
Researching my tree back to middle 1600s in my direct line in some instances.

I have found about 6 convicts sent to Australia, Also a black African slave, drunks and other things that I'm aware of, I'm sure some of them would have done some unsavoury things that I don't know about.

However i am very proud to say their all mine and in more than any of them I'm especially proud of the slave that eventually became a free man and made his mark in the world, i must say that is where i got my olive skin from and i consider that it went really well with all that English influence over the next 9 generations, I'm the last of my direct line to still show a small part of my African ancestry, see my avatar where I'm holding my son in sailors hats.

Thats good Steve.

Every human being in the world should be proud of who they are....every human being is a work of art.

I have some naughty people in my family tree on my fathers side but when you look at how their life was you can't help feeling sympathetic. Life was hard and led to some making the wrong choices but as the generations have gone on each generation has improved on the next and I feel proud of that.

I shall be sending off for a multiple year search for my ancestor's death in America 1906-1910. He was inbetween 78 and 82 when he died.

The death date shall be closing in.
