After today I won't believe any of the transcriptions on A... I will try to view the original image.

I looked up an Australian electoral roll index at the library today for a William Samuel Butcher and this is what I got:

Oklahoma and Indian Territory, Dawes Census Cards for Five Civilized Tribes 1898 - 1914.

When I did actually get the Australian records I found 50% of the ones I looked up today had transcription errors. A wide range of errors, some minor like Mry for Mary but others rather more serious like the wrong Sub-division.

The site is becoming a joke. Often the transcripts for the parish registers for a certain county give just first name but the originals give surnames as well.

Seems they give you all the results under the sun except the ones you want.
