Hi everyone!
I have printed off an error report for my tree, all two pages of it! ( there was 3 last time ) lol.

I have lots of marriage dates missing, if anybody could help me out with any of these it would be a great help.

John Barker born about 1839 scawton yorkshire died 1906 married a Jane Kelsey born April 1945 Bradford i have them as having 9 children,ann,james,ada,william,john,mary hannah,jessie,jane,elizabeth

Joseph Bonner born bedfordshire 1833 maried Sarah Smith born 1840 in linchfield
6 children emily,joseph,edith ann,elizabeth, william, henry marshall.

William R Hodgson born 1843 robin hoods bay Married Catherine ?? born in Hull they had at least 1 daughter called Elizabeth A Hodgson and she was born in middlesbrough in 1875

I have a load more but will keep trying to find them, these are the ones that have been driving me nuts lol x

Hi I think there may be an error on this one.

I have found the 1881 census which gives children (all born Norton/Malton, Yorkshire - two villages separated by a railway line)
James 1868
Ada 1869
William 1871
John 1872
Mary Hannah 1874
Jessie 1876
Jane 1877
Elizabeth 1878

1891 adds child Louisa 1888 Norton

1871 adds Ann 1865

John 1839 has a birth place of Sawdon, Malton and Jane 1844 has birthplace of Seamer, a village just outside Scarborough. In 1891 Jane is down as Ann but other details are the same as for Jane.

In 1851 the only Jane born in Seamer in 1844 is Jane Keld.

On BMD Mar qtr 1864 a John BARKER married Jane Keld at Scarborough ref 9d 485

John 1839 has a birth place of Sawdon, Malton and Jane 1844 has birthplace of Seamer, a village just outside Scarborough. In 1891 Jane is down as Ann but other details are the same as for Jane.

In 1851 the only Jane born in Seamer in 1844 is Jane Keld.

On BMD Mar qtr 1864 a John BARKER married Jane Keld at Scarborough ref 9d 485

I am having problems identifying Sarah, let alone her marriage.

So far I have found
1851 census with Joseph 18 Westoning, Bedford with mother

still looking for 1861

1871 Joseph aged 39 he is married to Sarah 29 Lichfield Staffs with children Emily Ann 8 West Brom and Joseph 5 Walsall

1881 Joseph aged 48 married to Sarah 31 Lichfield with children Edith 8 Hylton, Elizabeth 5 Middlesborough, William 3 M'boro

J/S 1883, there is a birth of Henry Marshall Bonner in M'boro

1891 Sarah Bonner 41 Lichfield is in M'boro workhouse.

O/D 1891 marriage Emil Orth to Sarah Bonner M'boro ref 9d 1044

1901 Ercil Orth 45 Lamplighter Switzerland, B. Subject, Sarah Orth 48 Lichfield, Henry Bonner 17 M'boro, living M'boro

Thats it so far. Sarah seems to adjust her age to match circumstances, and although I've accounted for all the children you mention they just seem to disappear. I am wondering if the first two children were not Sarah's and she was 21 in 1871 not 29
How have you got Sarah as being a Smith?

there are several trees on A----Y giving Sarah Smith as the spouse, but none have any proof. If indeed it is her, there are two choices, Sarah born 1842/44 or Sarah born 1848/50. From the ages she has given on census returns I favour the one born 1848/50. This is against the owners of the trees as they have the other Sarah with parents Thomas and Louisa. My choice has parents John and Priscilla

I dont have much information at all to work on for my family tree x

My Nan was Florence Barker born malton 1922 married malton 1943 died 2010 middlesbrough.
Her father was James Barker born 1868 Norton Malton Married alice G Field in 1918.
James Dad is down as been John Barker 1839 not 100% sure where Jane Kelsey came from will have another look through paper work x

Right I have been really having a hard time with this one, I have been sent a page of someones generation chart......

Joseph married sarah smith ( born Lichfield, daughter of Thomas Smith, Pub owner)

Sarah Smith worked at workhouse in middlesbrough and remarried Emil Orth a swiss sailer.

still no marriage found for them though!

Hi - not sure how far all of you have got on the Bonner family history, but I have Joseph Bonner's line back to 1585. I also have many certificates and a lot of information relating to the Smith family in Lichfield (all checked and correct).
