I miss the Family Records Centre in London.

Since they merged with the National Archives I do miss the FRC. The atmosphere was really warm there and I loved sitting in the upstairs census rooms trawling through census records of my ancestors.

It was in a brilliant central location as well. TNA is warm but it is a long way away from Central London out in Kew.

Nice gardens there though Benny.
Never went there and havnt been to Kew yet.
I plan to go back to Kew next time I visit London. You could spend a whole day there if you had lots to find out. It is a brilliant place. The gardens are nice. They do charge £10 to enter them though.
