Hi Dave
I cannot find anything that looks similar in regards to the blouse/tunic. However, I would say it looks like a WW1 uniform, and possibly a horse mounted regiment? He looks to me as though he's wearing a jodhpur type trouser ?

Could be he just about to go out and conduct the Greater London Philamonic :biggrin:

Strange Uniform and with those trousers maybe a messenger on the early motorbikes.

Taken 1914/16 he is wearing the uniform of 'The Flying Corps', a uniform unique to them.
