Hi everyone
I am really new to this game thought I would delve into the murky past. Have only got as far as my gg grandfather, not sure of the most effective way of tracing. looked on 1901 census so far. really funny name of Boddy so if anyone has another boddy from marlow bucks, or maidenhead then that would be great. Thanks for reading

Hi Nanny and welcome to the site, you have started well with the 1901 census, it is usually best to work backwards. You can also ask relatives what they remember as well as checking the other censuses, and check births marriages and deaths which start from 1837, There are lots of genealogy sites on the internet, some are free and others may be pay per view or an annual subscription. I am sure you will get lots of help here, it is a very friendly site we all try to help on another. Good luck with your research.
