Information on a Thomas Ashton born around 1801. Estimated from the 1841 census

Hello I was wondering If anyone can help me gain more information on my 5th great grandfather a Thomas Ashton. He was born around 1801 which I've estimated from the 1841 census. In his household was his wife Betty and 2 sons samuel (my 4th great grandfather) and Thomas.

If anyone could help me confirm this and help me locate more information I would be greatly appreciative.

I have him living in hollinwood oldham lancashire in 1841. I believe he was born. He was still in that area in 1821 at the birth of my 4th great grandfather. I'm not 100% sure if he was born in the same county or not

Hello. I'm not finding anything with that when I search ancestry. I have a baptism that shows his parents as potentially being Thomas Ashton and Betty Ashton. Probably Elizabeth not Betty. But I'm still not convinced that is correct

I believe there was a Henry,William and Sarah who were siblings to Samuel. They were all born between 1825 to 1836. I can't confirm the wedding date of Thomas as there are a few potentials. I've come across a wedding 13/5/1832 to a Betty Whitehead in prestwich and one on the 28/06/1826 to a betty parker in Blackburn

This could be Thomas and Betty's marriage but it's a bit late. The reason I'm thinking this is because one of the witnesses is Abraham Kay and Thomas, Betty and the 2 children were living in a household with Thomas and Jane Kay in 1841.
