I am trying to find a death for William Edward Smith.
Here is what I know:-
He was married to Agnes (Aggy) Ferguson Beattie.
She died in 1969 in Flyde,Lancashire.England (aged 90) no mention of William at all.

I am only speculating here;--- he died before her, possibly as early as the 1940's-1950?

I have their marriage date as 1907 at St John Parish Church.Broughton.Salford

I do not have or know anything more about him

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Hi Baldy,

I dont envy you with the name Smith. Heres a link to Tombstones and Monumental Inscriptions, its a good site , there are some Lancashire inscriptions you might be lucky but it is an ongoing thing, or theres the BMD index, perhaps he left a will?

Hi Julie.
I have been on the BMD Index site & find nothing.Have not been able to see a will in anything.
But the link? that you give may be worth a look.
