INLAND TSUNAMI 72 people missing

#43
Very sad to hear all this.
Thank you for your thoughts Benny.

The problem now though is that other states are becoming flooded.NSW, TAS,VIC,SA and Western Australia now is being threatened by a cyclone.

These floods are of unprecedented record levels anywhere in the world, we are lucky not to have lost many more people.

Like the Brits, we will keep a stiff upper lip and get on with the clean up job.

The Australian way.

Volunteer Australians unaffected by floods forming work groups and driving around and cleaning up people's houses "free of charge" just ozzies helping out other ozzies. All this without Government or business being involved, just Australians caring for others less fortunate.

Rescue workers have found a body 80 klms from point of origin and can't guarantee they will find everyone due to seas of mud.

Melbourne City Victoria Northern Suburbs 1650 klms away from Brisbane now flooding as well.

Northern Tasmania flooding making in total 5 states being flooded.

How lucky are we not to have lost more people.

God this is awful.
It sure is Benny. The way all Aussies are chipping in helping others to clean up their homes is what makes me especially proud myself Australian.

I know now how the people of England felt in the bombing raids in WW2 when they too helped each other out.

I reckon the same applies to most people and countries in times of trouble and severe hardship.:)
It's what we all do, mostly.
