I have found an Edward McKenna born Nov 1859 at Shettleston, Lanarkshire and a William McKenna born Feb 1858, High Church, Glasgow in the 1871 Scottish Census. They were institutionalised at the Industrial School for boys 72 Abercromby St, Glasgow.
I am trying to find out if I am able to get records of why and for how long they were in for.
In Family Search I found them listed along with a John McKenna born Nov 1860 Central District, Glasgow and Mary McKenna born Dec 1857, High Church Glasgow.
All have mothers name listed as Mary Anne McKenna but no fathers name.
I am still trying to find a Death for a Mary Anne McKenna.
