Hi, I've just joined the site and look forward to possibly getting some help. Because I have an unusual surname I had anticipated at least one side of my family would be easy, but it turns out that the family had a tendancy not to complete Census forms. I always knew the other side would be difficult because they are all Jones's. Yes, even Jones's marrying Jones's. Hey Ho.

And to compound the problem, my wife is a Thomas 😠. Weddings in South Wales can be confusing, especially when the photographer puts out the call for Mrs Jones or Mrs Thomas & half the guests turn up.
