Thanks gibbo. :)

You are the convict expert. :2fun:

The 'born England' would be wrong if this is the convict. Age is way out too.

NSW Death 2998/1857 BOODLE ROBERT AGE 35 YEARS DIED IPSWICH IPSWICH

Qld. Death 1857/C0314 Robert Boodle - - ** born England aged 35 years

Going through all the variations of the name I can't find another death.

I also didn't find him in 1841 census.

Family in my tree of same name here:

Trying to force one into my tree. :2fun:

I'm sure now the convict is not this Robert:

NSW Birth 4842/1856 BOODLE ELIZABETH - ROBERT - ANN - GOULBURN

That's the connection to my tree.

Just wanted to try and trace the convict and find his death as proof it's a different Robert.

Is that a way of saying "I give up - this is too hard." :2fun:

I guess it is since there is no death that fits.

Yes, gibbo, that 1856 birth is the connection to my tree. I think the Irish convict is not the same Robert so in a way the case is closed. I was hoping to find a death for the convict to be really sure there are 2x Robert. The name can be any of about 6 variations. It's not as if we had 2 variations and the two families stuck to one spelling. It's not like that.

If I squeeze them into a dozen photos then it will be 6 new plants per photo.

Or one photo from the top of the 30m gum tree. :D
