Hi

Looking for Jack in 1911 and after. I can't see a credible death before 1911..

Born out of wedlock 1888 Ironbridge, Shropshire as Jack Goodwin.

Parents = Thomas Page and Mary Ann Goodwin, married 1890 Sheinton.

They can all be found in 1891 Buildwas and 1901 Great Bolas.

Likely deaths for Thomas 1904 and Mary Ann 1909.

He may be using a middle initial G, as per 1901.

This link may be useful > HERE

Many thanks
Geoff

One researcher has this:

"Jack, was it seems the step son of Thomas Page, not the actual son. Thomas, was an uncle of Jack's wife, Florence Page."

If this is correct, we still don't have Jack's father

there is a service record number 10874 K.S.L.I (seems he only served 66 days). Married Florence Page, spinster, Leighton Salop 10/o1/10.
children Hilda 10/02/11 and Gladys Maria 31/05/13
16 Church Terrace, Coalbrook Dale, Salop

so he is still alive 22/10/1914 (discharge as not likely to become an efficient soldier) He had previously served as a Territorial and Volunteer

On his baptism 20/12/1888 (born 04/12/1888 Ironbridge) his mother is Mary Goodwin, no father indicated

Thanks, Dave

I don't suppose there was an indication about re-enlistment [re the above] following his discharge in Oct 1914?
