Hello Steve,

Thanks for the records.

I'm trying to see if they had a son Samuel born 1824 - 1832. Age at marriage and age at death give different birth dates. All I have so far is born England - parents James & Ann. And several variations of the family name in records in Australia.

I've not found Samuel in shipping records yet. He was in Tasmania by 1848.

You can discount the Samuel Adlam (1821)from Millbrook/Redbridge, Hampshire, he's still here in 1871.

Also the one from Wesbury, Wiltshire.....he's here in 1861.

And the one from Crockeston, Wiltshire.

BUT.....not sure on this one.

Steve, according to the marriage his parents are James and Ann and James was a gardener.

Yes, I know it says bachelor and I know the age does not fit but I think I can prove (it might take 46 posts) that it's the same Samuel - a groom from Warminton (Warmington), Wilts.
