I'm searching for any information about James Brelsford born possibly in Wales between 1915/1920 who emigrated to Canada in the late 1940's up to mid 1950's. I understand he married in Canada. Apologies for being vague with the detail.

Thank you
Maisy

Anc. has this, Gibbo.. Not sure it helps much, apart from the Scottish embarkation.

U.S., Border Crossings from Canada to U.S., 1895-1960:
Mr J Brelsford
Record Type: Manifests
Arrival Date: 12 Sep 1953
Port of Arrival: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Airline: Trans Canada Airlines
Flight Number: 537-12

Original has Embarkation = Prestwick, Scotland. The destination of some passengers was US, so probably a stop-off before Canada.

No other details given.

Tree on Ancestry.
James Irwin Brelsford
Birth 1915 Wales Spouse Edith
Residence
Toronto Ontario Canada
I did see that one, Keith, not a lot of info on it, but also possibly married a Catherine first. The tree has the marriage to Edith 1965 or later.

Geoff

EDIT: He may not have married a Catherine first, that was a James G Brelsford. So that may be a possible, Keith.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and searches. An elderly relative has suggested that Edith was Irish and she was living in Ireland before emigrating. That's all the information there is.

Gibbo, I requested any information concerning James Brelsford who emigrated to Canada. It was Geoff who discovered a Canada voter’s list mentioning the name of Edith. I am grateful for that answer. Even the Family Search you posted was of interest to me. My request for any information concerning James might have included for example, passage to Canada, address details, marriage, children, occupation etc. Hope this is a sufficient answer to your question.
