Hello everyone,
Hoping someone might be able to help me try to make a connection on these two folks that I've been given a lead on.
James Brown & Eliz
Arrived in the port of Adelaide, South Australia on the ship Shackamaxon 22 Jan 1853 , with their girls Ann b. 1839 Driffield, Margaret b 1850 & Harriet b.1843 & a Maria Ann b. 1837 Driffield.
Eliz - died in port not log after the ship docked and was, as the story goes buried on the beech by James.
A family member has said that Eliz maiden name was "Draper" and that they were married 1839 at Charlton Kings, Gloucester England.
They could not tell me how they obtained her maiden name.
I have nothing giving her Name as "Draper".....
Any help would be appreciated.
