Hi Dave,

I can't find James in 1851. There is a possible death in 1849

James Dalton sep 1849 Wandsworth Vol 4 p1078

and if I missed him in 1851 there is another in 1860

James Dalton Dec 1860 Wandsworth vol 1d p0288

Can't be sure, but it was after 1847. The one who died in 1860 should be in 1851 census somewhere.
