EDWARDS, DAVID

Gender: Male
Birth 1809 -
Marriage/Relationship: 1842 - LAUNCESTON,Tasmania ( PYMBLE, ELIZA ) [@]
Death:

FAMILY INFORMATION
Children:
115486 EDWARDS M 1843
115487 EDWARDS ELIZA 1845

Looks as though M = Male

A daughter is the one in my tree:

Birth 6191/1876 EDWARDS MARIAN ELIZA - JAMES GEORGE - REBECCA - ST LEONARDS

It would seem the tree was not totally wrong - had death for Eliza nee PYMBLE in 1902 in NSW.

Just had birth for James George as 1848 Somerset and not 1843 Tasmania.

THE LATE MRS. EDWARDS. SMH – Mon 17 Nov 1902

A very old resident of the State, in the person of Mrs. Eliza Edwards, passed away peacefully at her late residence, Gordon, last week, at the advanced age of 82 years. Mrs Edwards was the third daughter of the late Mr Robert Pymble, who with members of his family came to New South Wales in the early days of settlement. With the exception of a few years spent in Sydney and Tasmania, the deceased resided in or near Gordon, and by her amenable disposition endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact. She leaves one son, Mr. Jas. G Edwards of Killara, and one daughter, Miss Edwards of Gordon. Her remains were followed to St John's Cemetery, Gordon, by a large number of friends and relations.

I have come to the conclusion he is listed on one of the two 'blank' = very faint pages.

No info re physical description or trade, etc...

Thanks Val.

I had forgotten about that site. I had visited several times previously searching for one branch of the Perdriau family who lived in Killara.

Pymble is named after Robert Pymble (1776–1861), an influential early settler whose 1823 land grant comprised some 600 acres, around half the land of the region.
