Baptism has Falkirk, if that is James in 1851 then Grahamston and in 1861 it is Bainsford then back to Falkirk.

I can't find a James Granger/Grainger in 1851 who would fit born 1847 Bainsford/Falkirk.

I can't find a birth/baptism on SP for a John that would fit so that's probably James in 1851.
