Thanks Geoff.

Shipping record just has Somerset in both places.

The other half - Mary Ann Eliza ALLEN

1857
Eliza 22 - Bristol Richd & Hariet Allen C.E. Read None Good None

I presume Richard & Harriet are alive and in Somerset or Gloucestershire in 1841 and 1851.

I'd like a look up please for the ALLEN family in 1841 and 1851.

Lots of Richard/Richd in 1841. Have to assume it's one of the Bristol parishes.

Only 3x Harriet in Bristol.

None of those Harriet's appear to fit in 1841

I notice James got married in Bath, perhaps Mary Ann Eliza or family moved a little closer to Somerset

Thanks Geoff.

Shipping record was not much help with the Allen family, not listing if they were alive and if so where they were living in 1857.

Also does not help with Mary/Eliza. Don't know which one it will be in census.
