James Hardy, B c1844-Mary Hardy, B c1848

Hi, I seem to have hit a brick wall in finding the death of the above Hardy's.
They are both listed in the 1901 census 2829,121,29 but nowhere to be found on the 1911 census. They are not living at the 1901 address either so they have died or moved.

I have found a death for a James Hardy in 1916 BMD 1916, 6d,533, Aston. The right area but not sure it is the James Hardy I am looking for. Cannot find any Death record for Mary Hardy in the Aston area recorded in the 1901 census.

Any help or comments please.

I think this may be Mary. right age and W. Brom is N.W of Birmigham as is Aston.

I think I searched for James born 1844 Northwold living in Aston with spouse Mary. note no surname. I then looked for a result in Warwickshire

Whilst searching for a birth record for James Hardy I found two listings both very similar: BMD 1837

James Hardy b July - Sept 1843 Thetford, V13, p278.

James Hardy b July - Sept 1843 Mitford, V13, p210.

I decided to go with the Thetford James as Northwold (birthplace re 1901, 1911 census) is close to Thetford.

Mitford (Dereham) James is some distance from Northwold.

Is my logic flawed in any way.

Northwold was in Thetford reg district so I would say you're on the right track

William Hardy 4 [b. Northwold]
Mary A Hardy 7 Mo [do]

Still in Norfolk in 1861 and by 1871 James was in Aston.

This maybe their marriage..
