335 Bridge road, Drummoyne.

Ok, won't be easy being 1920 - between 1913 and 1930 rolls.

I'll be at the State Library next Tuesday. The 1917 and then 1921 rolls on fiche. But I need a surname. French being after 1916.

I spent a few hours at the State Library today. I have lots of images of shipping records.

1917 Electoral Roll for Drummoyne

FRENCH Frederick William, Queen's road,
a few other French but not Lillian Australia.
No Jane Ireland.

No French or Ireland at Bridge road.

I could not find this one on film.

IRELAND JAMES F 6070/1818 V18186070 1B EDMUND - ANN

Year 1818 the running numbers are between 4000 and 5000.

6070 is around 1823

I now have the image of this one.

Marriage V1843177 27C/1843 IRELAND JAMES - KING JANE - CA

Page 1
Marriages solemnized in the Parish of St. Philip in the County of Cumberland in the Year 1843
No. 2
James Ireland of the Parish of St. James Bachelor
Jane King of this Parish Spinster
married in this Church of St. Philip by Banns with consent of mother
this thirteenth day of November 1843 By me J. C. Grylls
Parties signed: James Ireland, Jane King
Witnesses: John Golbey of Sydney, George Perry of Sydney

The witnesses may not be correct. Also, who's mother? Don't have age at death for either of them.

Jane must have been under 21.

James Francis Ireland
Gender:
Male
Christening Date:
19 Jan 1823
Christening Place:
ST PHILIP SYDNEY NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA
Birth Date:
01 Sep 1818
Father's Name:
Edmund Ireland
Mother's Name:
Ann

Oh. That explains why I didn't find it on film.

The stupid index has the year of birth even though the record is a baptism.
The running number matches the baptism date not the birth date.

Edward on death reg is probably an error for his father.
