LEADLEY.-November 9, 1942, Rev. James William Leadley (Methodist Minister), of 38 Hall Street, Bondi, beloved father of Stanley (in England), Edna, Harold and Winnie (Mrs D. Furner), aged 84 years. By request no flowers.

THE Rev. James William Leadley, who recently assumed the superintendency of the Newcastle circuit of the Primitive Methodist Churqh, comes of an old Primitive Methodist family, hie father being the Rev. J. Leadley, one of the early ministers of the church.The subject of the present sketch was born at Keightley, Yorkshire, in 1858, and received his education at thel Keightley Grammar School, Leeds Trade School, and finally at the Elmfield Primitive Methodist College, York. He came to the colonies in 1879, arriving in Sydney in 1881, and was called to the ministry during the following year. Thb first four years of Mr. Leadley's etc etc

There is probably a death for a child George, the one on the passenger list, as another son born in 1858 is named George.

That's an error with William as father's name so the informant assumed 2nd spouse was the children's father.

That's the only place Ann has a middle name Jane if she did remarry. No birth in NSW for an Ann J.

We have no parents for Ann FRYER or birth/baptism yet.

We are also missing a birth in Victoria around 1857 for Elias junior:

Rev. Elias Crozier, word of whose sudden death at Mudgee was received on Friday evening, was a native of Victoria

as well as the death before 1858 for George born England.

Has kept a door, driven, hoisted the cranes, chalked on, &c. Father is a shifter. Has 2 brothers down pit who are hewers. Can read [well.] Goes to a Sunday-school only. Attends chapel regularly.
