LYTTON James 20 Sultana 1855 Sydney and/or Newcastle

Native place looks like Redruth. Its on page 6 of the passenger list.

Have we done this one before? Just had a feeling like we have:confused:

Yes that must be him - a mason from Redruth CofE R&W

But...

I'm about to post another family from Redruth. I have about 6 or 7 families from there.

The most famous one is the GRIBBLE - the missionary who set up the mission at Yarrabah. Miner turned into Congregational minister.

If you want to look there is heaps of stuff about him and his son who took over the mission you can find by searching. Controversial figure.
